After the fire closed down the Sawmill Brewery 2019-2020, we were approached to come up with three designs of stools to replace those damaged by smoke.

We both wanted something with a different twist material wise so came up with a short stool using Rough-sawn Totara and square mild steel.

The tall steel stools we used ply and laminated cork and rubber gasket to form the tops. I have always loved the look and feel of this material usually used in the automotive industry.

The third stool uses Lawson's Cyprus and no metal fastenings. Oak pegged and oiled these stools will last a lifetime.
